The 7th Annual PPIE Run for Education is coming on April 14 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. We hope to see as many students, staff, and parents there! You can register at www.ppierun.com
AND THIS YEAR, to encourage even more Run participation, PPIE is offering several promotions:
- Stomper, the Oakland A’s mascot, will run in the Kid’s Challenge and the Oakland A’s will have a large presence at the Run
- The Elementary School with the top participation rate (% of students participating in the Run) will get a free ice cream social for the entire school, provided by the Run Title Sponsor, Workday
- All participating students from Middle and High Schools will enter a raffle to win a pizza party for 30 people
- All teachers who are listed by 5 or more students for Inspiring them to Run (participants can easily select a teacher for each school on our registration site) will receive either:
- a) free 5-day family pass at Bay Club,
- or b) two A’s tickets (for 1st 30 teachers) for May 11 vs. Cleveland Indians (1:05 game) - NOTE: Teachers do not have to participate; just encourage their students to join
- PLUS a great tech shirt, medal, chance to run or stroll with friends, and to be part of a great cause that raises funds for our schools
