Attention Parents/Guardians of Incoming 7th graders - Your Students Must Have These Immunization Boosters to Start 7th Grade in the Fall:
- Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis (Tdap) - 1 does. This booster must have been given after the 10th birthday and may be called Tdap, Adacel, or Boostrix.
- Measles-containing Vaccine (MMR) - 2 doses. Both doses must be given on or after the child's first birthday.
Please check your child's immunization record for these vaccines and bring a copy of the record to the School Office ASAP.
If your child has not received a Tdap booster or doesn't meet the MMR requirements, please schedule an appointment to see your healthcare provider as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that personal/religious belief exemptions are no longer an option.
Students who have not submitted proof of these immunization boosters will not be allowed to start school in the fall. If you have any questions, please contact the District Nurses at (925) 462-5500 x 4168.
