Via Heart Project is a non-profit organization, founded in 2010 and based in the Bay Area. Since 2015, Via has screened 2918 youth and found 31 with potentially fatal heart defects. On a team of local cardiologists, sonographers, paramedics, nursing students, and community volunteers will be providing heart check-ups for youth ages 12 to 25. These tests, including an EKG, health history review, cardiologist consult, and limited echocardiogram, can be worth up to $6000!
This event is hosted by Livermore High School and made possible by our sponsors, Stanford Valley Care, Heart of the Valley Cardiology, and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Foundation. Thanks to their generous sponsorship, we can screen young hearts and potentially save lives.
