A big shout out to Panther Players, a drama troupe from PMS that has been offering free performances for Pleasanton Elementary Schools and other community events for 25 years on their upcoming virtual performance '10 Ways to Survive Life in Quarantine' that will be available to all PUSD elementary schools to air and watch during the week of December 14.
Panther Player's Co-Director and PMS drama and history teacher, Katie Orenberg is so proud of these talented young actors and is thrilled to share this performance with the elementary schools. Mrs. Orenberg said, "These particular students auditioned and have been meeting for rehearsals since early Fall - all on their own time!" 6th Grader and Panther Players actress Sophia Nguyen says "The highlight for me was that I got to meet new people [even during] quarantine" and 7th grader Lily Song said this play "was remote and harder to do during quarantine, that's what made it so different from the other years."
Great job to all our incredible Panther Player students (pictured) and Co-Directors Katie & Johnny Orenberg! As Mrs. Orenberg said it best - "Even in quarantine, the show must go on!"
