- We are offering School Smarts as a way to connect parents to our school and school district.
- The School Smarts Program was developed by the California State PTA in 2008 to help parents navigate their child’s education and ensure their student’s educational success.
- Research shows that creating a home environment that encourages learning is more powerful than family income, parental education, and cultural background in determining student achievement.
- The program runs for seven weeks on consecutive Thursday evenings and covers many different facets of the school system; parent involvement at home and at school, creating lifelong learners, understanding our public school system, and becoming an effective leader and communicator.
- This program will meet in the PMS library on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning on January 20, 2022 and runs through March 3, 2022.
