2023-24 Competitive & Intramural Sports
Competitive Sports
Competitive program will include basketball, volleyball, track and possibly more.
In particular, we will need coaches, volunteers, and students will need to get physicals so that we can play safely. If your child is planning on playing competitive sports, we recommend that you schedule a physical through your physician now as there may be wait time to obtain an appointment. There will be no need for a physical for intramural sports. If you are interested in coaching, please monitor edjoin.org for available coaching positions. As always, we appreciate your partnership and if you are able to volunteer to help us along the way, please contact your school site.
Intramural Sports
We are not currently offering intramural sports. Intramurals will occur after school from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. These programs and clinics will teach students sports skills and provide a fun atmosphere for practice and play. More information about sign-ups will be coming soon. (Physicals are not required for intramural sports; only a permission slip.) Please encourage your student(s) to participate! After school sports programs at Pleasanton Middle School provide students with an opportunity to participate in a variety of sports. Although games are competitive by nature, the emphasis is on participation. There will be no tryouts or cuts.
