National PTA Reflections Program Honors Pleasanton Middle School Students

Reflections Art Recognition Program theme for the

2017-18 "

"Within Reach"

The Reflections Arts Recognition Program is a national arts recognition and achievement program for students that provides an excellent opportunity for students of all ages (Preschool to Grades 12) to unleash their creative talents and be inspired, express themselves imaginatively in their artwork and receive positive recognition for their original works of art. In addition to this, the Reflections Program increases community awareness of the importance of the arts in education

During the 2016-2017 school year, tens of thousands of students across the country and in U.S. schools overseas contributed their original works to be considered for PTA’s highest honor in the arts. A panel of arts and education experts juried 1,042 national level submissions, selecting 206 works to be exhibited.
